If I were to start with just one TillyRuth face product, which would you recommend?

We recommend one of our Face Oils. They are specifically formulated to moisturize, hydrate, and balance skin. You could see/feel results in as little as a few days, while they help smooth aging like fine lines and wrinkles and reducing redness.

How long does it take to see results?

It depends which product you are referring to and what your end goals are. You could be able to tell a difference in hydration within the same day. A change in redness and irritation could take anywhere from a few days plus. As for long term effects like wrinkle reduction, minimizing blemishes and dark spots, firming of the skin, etc. that improvement could start as soon as a few weeks and will continually get better the longer you use the products. Do you offer travel sizes?

The benefit of our base sizes is that they are already travel sized! They are all small enough (less than 3.4 oz) to be packed in your carry on bag.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Our products have been tested on many people with sensitive skin and all have found them very gentle! We strive to be an all inclusive brand. For those who may be concerned that the Essential Oils may irritate their skin, we also offer "Essential Oil-Free" versions! One main tip we have for those with sensitive skin is to be careful not to wash any towels you use on your face with laundry detergent or fragrances that can irritate the skin. You can use the best products on your face and have your towel be secretly sabotaging your results. 

If I have breakout-prone or oily skin, can I still use face oils?

Is Oil Beneficial For Oily Skin?

It has been scientifically proven that oil is in fact beneficial for oily skin. The reason that skin is oily is because of unbalanced sebum production. Most products are designed to strip skin of oils, therefore your sebaceous glands overproduce oil to try and compensate. Using oil helps restore balance to your skin. 

 

Do You Suffer From Breakouts?

Breakouts are caused by a combination of bacteria, oil, and dead skin cells clogging hair follicles. Our oils are a great solution to breakouts as they have naturally occurring antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hydrating, and balancing properties. 

Why do some of the products smell so "earthy"?

Most carrier oils that you see in stores are refined, which means they are processed to remove "undesirable" traits like dark color and strong smell. However, when the oils go through this process, they are also stripped of most of their beneficial compounds. This is why we use unrefined/virgin oils. We realize that for some, there may be a small adjustment period to the "earthy" smell they are not used to, but we rather that and you reap more benefits from our products than us using refined oils and you getting lackluster results. We refuse to settle for subpar!

Are your products Vegan?

Yes! TillyRuth's founder, Rachel, is Vegan and it was very important for her that anything her company produces is Vegan.

Are your products Cruelty-Free?

Yes! We are very proud that all of our personal care products are certified Cruelty-Free through the strict Leaping Bunny program.

Are your products Organic?

Though our products are not/have yet to be certified Organic, we use most (if not all) Organic ingredients. Please refer to each product's full ingredient list to see all of the Organic elements!

What is your refillable program?

We are so glad you asked! As we are sure you can tell as of now, we make our decisions with the environment in mind. Therefore, we don't want to create waste by selling the same base size bottles over and over again. So we created the refillable options! Buy the base size just once then in the future, buy a discounted larger bottle to fill up your base sizes. Voila! More cost effective for you, and better for our lovely earth.

What does "energy infused" mean?

Everything in existence is made up of energy. While most are not able to see energies with the naked eye, some people have the special gift to be able to see, hear, and/or feel them. Our founder, Rachel, is one of those people! She is able to tap into any energy, harness it, and transfer it to people or objects. So that is exactly what she does with our jewelry! How do I know which stone is best for me?

First, we recommend paying attention to which stone(s) you are naturally drawn toward. This attraction speaks volumes as our bodies and souls innately know what is best for us. Second, for each item of jewelry there is a description of the stone's properties. Read the descriptions and see which one resonates with you the most :) Third, as an alternative option, close your eyes and point to a place on the screen. You really can't land on a bad stone, they are all amazing and beautiful :)

Are your earrings heavy since they are made with crystals/gemstones?

Great question! They are actually lightweight since we use smaller and lighter stones for our earrings. Therefore, they will not pull on your earlobes. The only earrings we have that are on the slightly heavier side are our Tiger's Eye Boho Hoops because there are 7 stone beads on each earring.  

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?

Yes! All of our jewelry is nickel free so even those with nickel allergies can enjoy!

Is your jewelry handmade?

Yes! All of our jewelry is handmade so each one is unique :)

 

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?

Our products are specially made to order so most are processed within 2-4 business days. After your order processes, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. Once your package ships, you will receive a separate email with tracking information. Please allow 3-7 business days after shipment for your package to arrive.

Do you ship internationally outside of the US?

We can't wait until we are able to ship internationally! However, until we find a sustainable way to do so, we ship solely within the United States. But we are working on it :)

What is Net Zero Shipping?

How much does shipping cost?

How do I track my order?

After your order ships, we will send you a notification email with a tracking number and link, so you can check on your shipping status. 

How do I change my shipping address?

If you contact us within a few hours after placing your order, we will do our best to change your address. Unfortunately once your order is processed, we cannot change your address. Please email us at Support@TillyRuth.com with your order number if you believe your package won’t arrive to you.

Can I return my order for a refund?

We take your purchases very seriously and we recommend that you ask us as many questions as you’d like before you purchase – and even after! Every product is made to order to ensure the highest quality and freshness, so we are unable to accept returned personal care products for refunds. And due to the energetic nature of our jewelry, all jewelry purchases are final, too. In the rare case of a reaction, though we cannot issue a refund, we can help you investigate the cause of the reaction and provide guidance moving forward,  like changes you could make or creative alternative uses for the product. How do I cancel my order?

Unfortunately once your order is processed it cannot be cancelled as it’s already on its way to be shipped. Nevertheless, if you email us within 12 hours after you place your order to Support@TillyRuth.com, there is a slight chance we can cancel it in time!
